Veterans Breakfast Club
Here are some photos from the Veterans Breakfast Club, a great group of military veterans from all age groups and backgrounds who meet in Pittsburgh.
This was a great opportunity for veterans to share their stories, whether from war or back home. We heard some amazing stories from a World War II vet who received a Purple Heart for two gun shot wounds and a bronze star for his service. Also a younger veteran spoke about his tour in Afghanistan and getting the chance to Skype with his new wife.
World War II combat medic who received a Purple Heart & bronze star.
Breakfast Club
Held at a local VFW, free to veterans.
Dave, an intake specialist for the PAServes coordination center, got a chance to talk to the entire group about PAServes and the benefits that are available to veterans and their families.
